Hello to all the lovely customers and followers of EDTV. I’m thrilled to be joining the team – bringing my wealth of knowledge and experience. Working on new dental content, writing educational and informative articles which as a dental practitioner I hope you enjoy.
Introducing Claire Berry
I would like to introduce myself, my name is Claire Berry. I qualified as a dental hygienist in 2009 whilst serving in the army. I was in the army for about 7 years in total before leaving to work in private practice as a hygienist in the north of England.
I now work full time in clinic between 2 practices which I love. I’m also kept very busy with other projects I have going on outside of treating patients.
Being a key opinion leader for Oral-B has me frequently lecturing and hosting webinars aimed at professionals.
I also participate in social media projects and write professional quotes for newspapers and consumer press. I’m so proud to be one of the professionals they choose to work with. I hugely endorse their products as they are so clinically proven, so to work with them is a dream.
Brand Ambassador
Alongside this, I train dental hygienists and dentists on behalf of EMS as a Swiss Dental Academy Trainer (SDA trainer), a great achievement and something I really wanted to accomplish in my career. I’m a big believer in GBT, so I’m passionate about bringing this protocol and equipment to other clinicians.
I’m an ambassador for other dental brands such as Ivoclar Vivadent and Boutique Whitening with whom I carry out training for other professionals. I’ve worked with Belmont on a number of occasions and I’m also an ambassador for my professional society, the BSDHT.
Another big project I’ve found myself being a part of is becoming a trainer in the new and upcoming YDS Academy. We have exciting things on the way, but I can’t say too much about that right now except watch this space.
As well as the blogs I’ll be writing for EDTV, I write monthly hygienist blogs for dentistry.co.uk and I am on the editorial board for FMC’s new title ‘Clinical Dentistry’, representing all things dental hygiene and oral health.
Prolific Author
I have published articles in numerous industry titles and consumer press and I am proud to be a published author with my own book on Amazon and further E-books for sale on Amazon and from my website.
After training in facial aesthetics 6 years ago, I went on to develop aesthetics masterclasses and now teach medical professionals as well as mentoring them and 1:1 coaching. When Covid hit I had to re write my courses and take them online as the whole world had to come up with new and innovative ways to reach their audience.
But enough about me!
I must say, I am really looking forward to working with EDTV, education is my passion as is theirs, so I hope you like what we have planned for you.
